"Paxam"2004 NPH Registered (3/4 Akhal Teke, ¼ Appaloosa) bred by Ronda Broncheau, Culdesac, ID. 15.2 metallic bay Paxam is a stunning representative of Akhal Teke breeding. He is one of the last progeny of the fabulous purebred metallic gold stallion, Pazyryck, out of a Melechan mare. Tough but refined, powerful but elegant, extremely charismatic, his movement is perfectly straight and balanced, animated, and flowing. He has one of the most beautiful heads we have ever seen, and the proportion and set of every element in his conformation is ideal. Independent-minded, he is still calm and easy-going, cooperative, and willing to learn. Like most Akhal Tekes, he is extremely flexible and lithe, a cat-like jumper. Started under saddle, he is still gaining size and substance. We look forward eagerly to developing and proving his athletic ability and versatility. He has passed on his refinement, agility, and elegance to a first year of foals already. With his combination of calmness and athleticism, we expect these two fillies to demonstrate great ability as endurance, jumping, and event horses, as well as being great all around pleasure and trail mounts. |

We love all our mares, but these we've selected especially for the combination of attributes most likely to create a great Nez Perce Horse and Akhal Teke Sporthorse breeding program. We can't see these mares without getting really excited about the future popularity and value of Nez Perce and Akhal Teke Horses.
"Kicuy"Kicuy (NPH registered, bred by Ronda Streibeck) is our ideal foundation mare and a perfect example of what we hope to breed for. A beautiful rabicino bay, gentle and extremely intelligent, she bonded with Dave at once and has become, in only about 30 rides, our most extraordinary mount. Superior in steep country, calm enough to pony from and parade, she is almost tireless even with very little formal conditioning. Straight, flowing, elegant movement and a natural talent for jumping would make her a standout eventer, but we want more of her! Bred for a 2008 foal. |

"Talahsa"Talahsa, 2006 filly, (NPH registered ¾ Appaloosa, bred by Jon and Rosa Yearout), brings Old Herd Appaloosa qualities into our program. Tough as nails, ample bodied, hardy, thrifty, and straight moving, she'll surely be a producer of outstanding mountain, pleasure, and endurance horses. Talasha is Nez Perce for "rises like the sun". |

"Tukweywe"Tukweywe, 2006 filly, (NPH registered ½ Akhal Teke, ½ Appaloosa, bred by Jon and Rosa Yearout) really shows the quality of her rare Akhal Teke breeding. Refined, elegant, extremely typey, she has the long neck and body and small beautiful head characteristic of Akhal Teke and Nez Perce breed ideals. Her foals will be stunning, we're sure. Tukweywe is Nez Pece for "winter dance".
